The Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee handed over the achievements of public welfare to the Olympic Council of Asia
On September 26, at the 19th Asian Games Sponsor Appreciation Event in Hangzhou, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) officially handed over a tailored silk scroll to the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), which recorded the achievements of Hangzhou Asian Games public welfare. On the silk scroll, the theme words "2022 Asian Games Aspirations" shine brightly. Every Chinese character is composed of the keywords of Hangzhou Asian Games public welfare, symbolizing every step and every precious moment of Hangzhou Asian Games public welfare in the past five years.
Silk is the one of the highest profile traditional craft of Hangzhou. Selecting silk as the carrier of the Hangzhou Asian Games Public Welfare not only represents Hangzhou culture but also conveys the wishes that Hangzhou Asian Games public welfare can be like "the Silk Road", connecting Hangzhou to the world, and playing an increasingly important role in the future versions of Asian Games.

The Asian Games is not only the stage of sports but also the soil of public welfare. In April 2018, with the launch of "Asian Games Football Dream" Project, Hangzhou Asian Games public welfare sowed the first "seed of dream". In next 2000 days, "2022 Asian Games Aspirations" Campaign, "Together with Asian Games Hangzhou" Online Platform, "Hangzhou Asian Games Dream Forest" and other public welfare projects were released successively. More than 200,000 Asian Games dreams were searched and collected. Starting in China, Hangzhou Asian Games Public Welfare has reached various Asian countries such as Japan, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates and Singapore.
Now, Hangzhou Asian Games Public Welfare have recorded about 780 million participants online and offline, held more than 30 different activities, and directly helped 6000 dream-chasers to realize their "Asian Games dream". 2022 schools throughout Asia have been accredited as the "Asian Games Football Dream School" , to which football equipment donation is successfully finished. Online public welfare totally gained nearly 47 million participation, and 2800 trees will be planted in "Hangzhou Asian Games Dream Forest" in western China.
In all of 200,000 Asian Games Dreams received by HAGOC, there are so many stories about the perseverance and friendship. On the scene, two special guests were invited. Yang Xueliang, senior vice president of Geely Holding Group, one of HAGOC’s official partners, and Su Shiyan, a girl from Sichuan Province, shared their story of realizing "Asian Games dream". Even separated by thousands of miles, they became dream chasing partners because of Asian Games Public Welfare. This touching story gave the event a heart-warming atmosphere.
HAGOC assembled a strong public welfare team including sponsors, media, public social organizations and caring people to deliver public welfare better. On the event, all these joint dream-helping friends were appreciated, and those who made prominent contributions were commended particularly.
Breaking dancers who participated in the "Group Dance for Asian Games" dream-achieving activity, and teenagers who are now watching Asian Games in Hangzhou were both invited to perform on the event.
