On October 18th, more than 20 overseas Chinese media executives, key journalists, and editors from 18 countries and regions on five continents walked into the Bailuzhou Academy in Ji'an, Jiangxi, and touched the cultural pulse of Ji'an Academy. Bailuzhou Academy was founded by Jiang Wanli, the military governor of Jizhou in the first year of Chunyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1241 AD). It is on par with the Bailudong Academy in Lushan, the Ehu Academy in Qianshan, and the Yuzhang Academy in Nanchang, collectively known as the "Four Great Academies of Jiangxi" in ancient times. The White Egret Island is named after the White Egret, so when the Song Dynasty established academies on the island, it was also called the "White Egret Island Academy" according to the name of the island.
Chen Ruyan, Deputy Director of the Editorial Department of Seven Days Media Canada, expressed her admiration for the ancient people here. They have been adhering to this tradition of establishing schools for eight hundred years, and their educational philosophy can still be applied today. The surrounding environment is also particularly good, and visitors outside can settle their hearts by enjoying the beautiful scenery here. As a member of overseas Chinese media, she will use her own media to showcase the shining "gold" here to Canadian audiences and promote it to the world, letting everyone know that there is still such a treasure trove in China and Jiangxi.
